Please keep in mind that anything other than a pencil sketch will be quoted depending on what you would like, so I cannot give a set price for anything more than a sketch. Requesting more than two characters per sketch may also result in a slightly higher price.

So I'm on a rather large jewelry making kick. I will post picks soon... I'm a fan of what I've done so far.

So registration went perfectly and I did upload some figure drawins I did from Draw-A-Thon 2008 (7pm to 7am T.T).

I also just found out on friday that I was selected to be a finalist in the Foundation Merit Award Competition. That means that I get to show my work this week and possibly win some scholarship money. I'm so honored to get selected because the group of students who are finalists are basically the best of the best of the school, so even getting into the show is a huge deal. A few of my friends got in too, which is also really exciting. I'm just really excited to be able to show my work. It's just such a cool thing to be able to do. I'm so happy hahaha.

Anyway, I think I'm going to go do a painting or something. I don't know lol.

OH god i'm so nervousss!!! I register for next year's classes in 36 minutes and I'm so anxious. I have a really good schedule planned and I'll be destroyed if i don't end up with it lol. Oh well, I have alternatives hahaha. But i'm just so nervous.

I can't wait for next year! I'll actually get to make some freakin' artwork. I'm so ready for this year to be over. Foundation year at this point is really starting to suck and I can't handle it anymore. I feel sort of zapped of creativity. I still have tones of work I need to photograph and get up. At this point I'm thinking about waiting until I get home to do it because then I'll actually have time. Time is in hot demand right now as the year is winding down. So I most likely won't have a lot of new stuff to add for a few weeks. My last class is may 5, and I'll try to update as soon as school is over. It's really inconvenient to scan and post stuff from my dorm room at the moment, and the internet connection here is really slow so loading stuff to my DA is next to impossible and takes forever to do.

But yeah, so next year should be so much better and I am completely stoked for it. I'm going to be an RA on campus, which helps a lot with the money situation, so now it looks like I can sort of afford to go here hahaha. My classes all look fricking SWEET. I'm taking Illustration I, Typographic design I, Illustration: Methods and Media, Design Procedures I, Comm. Imaging I, Visual Communications 1, World CIv. and 19th Century History of Art. I feel like these classes will just be so much more inspirational than what I'm doing now. I actually had a really sweet drawing class today for the first time in a while. It was gorgeous outside so we got to go draw in the sculpture garden and then they brought horses to campus for us to draw so I spent the afternoon doing gesture drawing compositions that my teacher really responded well too. So over-all a great day. Next week we're going to the Natural History Museum, which is amazing, because that is my favorite museum and it's an excuse to get my sore ass off those blasted drawing horses. I'm pretty sure my chiropractor would have a thing or to to say about those drawing horses.

I feel like I haven't done anything in LCD in weeks, which I basically haven't because i haven't had anything assigned, which is starting to bug me. I think I'm going to do some watercolors for next week and possibly some more color-aid problems. 4D is going well I suppose, and I got a nomination from my 3D teacher for freshman survey. I would be so honored and excited to get chosen for the freshman show, considering only 50 or students get selected from a class of roughly 600. Even just getting nominated is an honor. So hopefully I'll get nominated by another teacher and will be able to show. I would flip if I got chosen. It would be so fierce.

But yeah so that's pretty much what art school is all about right now. Everyone is really antsy and ready to leave at this point. I think we're all ready for freshman year to be over and part of the past. I understand it's necessity and I know that it serves a strong purpose in the whole art school process, but just because it makes sense means it's good ahaha. I think how good your foundation year is academically is solely based on your teachers and how you respond to assignments. You learn really quickly what you should and shouldn't do and how much time it takes to do the assignments.

Well I'll stop boring you with all my drabble. I'm off to go fret about registration. I hope the server doesn't crash. I would die lol.
